Kylie and Joe’s Michigan backyard wedding was a lovely blend of woodland romance, timeless style, and laid-back celebration.
Some of my favorite portraits were captured wandering through the woods, where the late afternoon sunlight filtered through the trees. Their sweet, candid moments together felt effortless and romantic.
I photographed their wedding on 35mm and 120 medium-format film, capturing everything from rich woodland greens to classic black-and-white portraits. The nostalgic colors, organic grain, and timeless quality of analog photography were a beautiful match for their intimate backyard wedding.
