I'm a mother of two fantastic humans, one at GVSU and one in middle-school. I'm also a full-time public school Art Teacher here in my hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan where I get to share my passion for fine art & photography with my amazing students.
My photography journey began when my grandfather gifted me with his Canon AE-1 35mm film camera for my high school graduation. That was way back in 1993 and I'm still in love with working with film. I went on to earn my BA in Photography from the University of Arizona. My passion for photography continues to grow & I enjoy using my personal home darkroom to process and print photographic artwork to this day.
I've been professionally photographing portraits & weddings throughout the state of Michigan & the Chicago area since 2008. With over 400 weddings under my belt, I'm the experienced & creative professional you've been searching for!
