This little corner of the internet is a dream come true for me, and I’m thrilled you stopped by.

I’m a proud mom of two awesome humans and a full-time public school art teacher in my hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. I spend my days helping amazing students tap into their creativity — and I absolutely love it.

My love for photography started way back in 1993 when my grandpa gave me his old Canon AE-1 35mm film camera as a graduation gift. That camera totally changed my life. I went on to earn my BA in Photography from the University of Arizona, and my obsession with film photography has only grown since. I still shoot film for fun and even have a darkroom at home where I develop and print my own work — total photo nerd and proud of it.

Since 2008, I’ve been capturing love stories, real-life moments, and beautiful portraits all over Michigan and the Chicago area. With over 400 weddings under my belt, I bring a whole lot of experience, creativity, and heart to every shoot. Whether you're getting married, celebrating a milestone, or just want some gorgeous photos that feel like you, I’m here for it.
