Brit and James brought their own creative style to their downtown Grand Rapids wedding, with a celebration full of personality, vintage charm, and artistic details. As a painter, Brit has a natural appreciation for art and individuality, and their choice of a vintage shop as a wedding location couldn’t have been more fitting.
I photographed Brit and James using a combination of vintage 35mm film cameras and digital photography, blending documentary storytelling with creative, editorial-inspired portraits. The textures, colors, and character of the vintage setting were especially fun to capture on film.
